Because God So Loved The World
The whole world acknowledges Jesus’ birth during Christmas, but the one thing that everyone should acknowledge with every breath is that none of us, not one, deserved eternal life and everlasting fellowship with God (Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:1-5, 12). God didn’t send His Son because we deserved Him (Tit. 3:4-7); God sent His Son because there was no other way (1Tim. 2:5), and God sent His Son because God is love (1Jn. 4:8, 16), and love could not do any less. Jesus was born for one purpose: to die for you. He was God’s gift to you. And all God desires is for you to acknowledge Him, confess Him, and live for Him. The only gift God wants for Christmas is you.
