A Colossians Prayer
Lord Jesus, praises, honor, and glory be to Your name. We ask, Lord, that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom with insight and revelation by the Spirit of Your purposes, and in understanding of all spiritual things, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity, in order to fully please You in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God with deeper faith, clearer insight, and fervent love for You and Your precepts—the truth of Your word. We pray that we may be strengthened, renewed, and invigorated with all power according to Your glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy, as we give thanks to the Father always, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (the holy ones, and chosen elect of God) in the light. In Your name, Lord Jesus, and for Your glory. Amen.
